"These paintings come from being in a place and absorbing what is happening. I have an experience that is visual, physical and emotional, and try to capture this in the visual medium of painting. I sample from all sorts of other imagery and memories to construct the painting. Immediacy and improvisation are important for executing the paintings because the experience of making them needs to be just another part of living life.” Tim Price
